Choosing a lunch place
The hardest question faced by the group everyday is - Where should we go for lunch? Believe me it takes us longer to come up with an answer than any complex technical problem.
I always wish there is a magic 8-ball to decide the fate of our appetites. Richardson has its fair share of restaurants for the daily lunch hunt. With choices ranging from Japanese to Brazilian the city can keep us occupied till we decide to ravage to Plano or maybe Dallas. With loyalty to my logic based background I can explain our decision in a scientific manner.
Off late Ian has been on a "breakfast bar" diet which has removed one variable from the complex mathematical algorithm. With Kang being the driving force behind healthier diets, the bi-weekly trips to Souper Salad has introduced a constant for the first time. The frequent visits have made me to start liking the place or maybe it’s the delectable dessert options. In the end the answer is a function of who names a food outlet first. If the decision were left to me, I think SNRLabs would be McDonalds’s MVP - most valuable profit-maker. Sounds McCheesy huh!!
Apart from the desire to satisfy the palate, the daily late lunches have been great time to chatter about almost everything. As a team I can say with all my conviction that lunch has been the best team-building exercise for SNRLabs.
