The Consumer Electronics Show (CES), the world’s largest consumer electronics tradeshow, held annually at Las Vegas, took place between January 7th and 10th, this year. We demonstrated our Advanced Connection Management Suite for Intel (ACMI) technology on an Intel MID device. ACMI allows for seamless data handover between 3G and WLAN resulting in uninterrupted YouTube viewing experience.
My heartfelt thank you to the two of you for organizing and hosting such an interesting meeting last Friday -- the ETF Partner Ladies Appreciation Breakfast at the Communities Foundation of North Texas. My thanks also to your respective organizations - the NTXRCIC and Entrepreneurs for North Texas and the wonderful work you are doing to nurture the entrepreneurship spirit in our local communities and helping/mentoring start-ups like SNRLabs!
Worse than Maria’s seven rambunctious children in The Sound of Music, today’s cell phones are full of radios that don’t work well together. Only one child can speak at a time but they all want to talk and they don’t know how to decide when which one of them should speak. So what do you get?

Barcelona 2008 was the second trade show of the year for SNRLabs. Having attended the same show last year we were a little more comfortable about the logistics involved for such a big trade show. Attending the show was a big learning experience for us last year and we were looking forward to attending the show in 2008.

3GSM Barcelona 2007. For all of us involved with Barcelona 2007 it is referred to as THAT trip. Sudipta had challenged the technical team to get the seamless handover of a voice call between GSM and WLAN, using the SNRLabs Convergence Manager, by 3GSM 2007, and the engineers lived up to the challenge.
G’day, have you heard about Computex? It’s the 2nd largest IT show on earth -- held in Taipei. We lab rats exhibited at Computex Taipei 07 and this time it was a much more intimate affair for us compared to the scale of 3GSM 07and CTIA 07.
CTIA – Orlando 2007. With a little more planning time than at 3GSM we managed to secure rooms and tickets at a reasonable rate and secured a budget to take a bigger team to the show.
