How do you know if your company is doing well and going places?
One look at the SNRLabs team and you can immediately tell that there is much, much more to them than meets the eye. Now, after having been here for three months, I can say I have deciphered the team to some extent and would love to decipher them fully but alas I have to go back to Boston to finish my senior year at Boston University.
Let me introduce myself. I'm called Soumya and I’m currently in the 3rd year of my pursuit of a B-Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Roorkee, India. I just had the privilege of spending this summer right around the globe at SNRLabs, Richardson.
The hardest question faced by the group everyday is - Where should we go for lunch? Believe me it takes us longer to come up with an answer than any complex technical problem.
Earlier this month (2nd Nov 2007) I had the priviledge of receiving the Rice University Outstanding Young Engineering Alumni Award for 2007, awarded by the Rice Engineering Alumini (REA) organization, the oldest alumni special interest group at Rice, being formed in 1938. It was great to be back at Duncan Hall and meet many of my professors and other Rice ECE folks!

A little bit about me before I start rambling. I graduated with B.S in Electrical Engineering in 2007. I live by myself in Richardson and wish to own a dog someday. The finals of the ‘Idea Brand Equity Quiz 2007’ was held at the Mahalaxmi Turf Club in Mumbai on the 6th of May. Rajiv Rai represented Deutsche Bank Mumbai with team mate Sudipta Roy and won the first prize, beating ten other teams from all over India. The Brand Equity Quiz is organized by the Economic Times and Derek O'Brien was the quizmaster for the finals.
